- A Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP based PC
- Internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 56kbps (it may affect call quality)
- a full duplex sound card (for basic audio calls), equipped with headset (or speakerphone) and microphone
- a webcam (optional) for video calls
